Are your candles made with natural ingredients?
Yes. We use a proprietary blend of soy and coconut wax, Eco-friendly, clean-burning, wooden wicks made from FSC Certified Wood, hand-crafted + made in the USA, lead-free wooden wicks, and phthalate-free fragrance oils to ensure a clean, natural burn from start to finish.
How long does each candle burn?
Our standard 6.5 oz candle offers an average burn time of 30-40 hours when properly cared for—Wood wicks need to be trimmed to roughly 1/8 to ¼ inch before each burn to prevent excessive flame height. Always remove the charred, blackened wood from the previous burn to ensure proper lighting and a clean, safe burn. Ensure any debris from the trimmed wick does not fall into the wax to prevent excess soot and uneven burning.
Avoiding drafts prevents uneven, fast burning.
Allowing the wax to melt completely to the edge of the container on the first burn prevents tunneling and maximizes total life.
For maximum life, burn for 2–4 hours per session to allow the wax pool to reach the edge, preventing tunneling.

Shipping Policy
Shipping costs and delivery times are calculated at checkout based on your weight & location. Your candles are hand-packed and shipped via UPS or USPS. Also, local and delivery pick-ups/drop-offs.
Damaged Items
I package my candles with care, but transit accidents happen. If your item arrives broken, please email thewoodengurl@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery. Include your order number and a photo of the damage. I will ship a replacement immediately at no extra cost.
